Taliban Rips Academic Documents as Women Displayed Them in Protest

allegedly interrupted and suppressed the demonstration of women in Kabul, the Afghan capital, held by the Afghanistan Powerful Women Movement members on Monday, October 31.

According to protesters who spoke with the local media, the Taliban resorted to violence, intimidation, and humiliation in addition to tearing some of the women’s documents to scatter their protest march.
