NYC school principal's wife is accused of scamming teachers recruited from the Dominican Republic by making them pay $1,400-a-month in rent on apartments owned by his mother
2022-11-21
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Sterling Báez, the wife of a Bronx principal, is accused of helping scam her husband's teachers who are recruited from the Dominican Republic

  • She is the wife of former MS 80 principal and the vice president of the Association of Dominican-American Supervisors and Administrators Emmanuel Polanco

  • Báez, 32, and her husband are under investigation after allegedly forcing the recruited teachers to stay in shared apartments for up to $1,400 per month

  • The teachers are unable to share rooms to split the cost of rent, and supposedly got a list of rules from Báez that they are required to follow or lose their visas

  • Rules include not being allowed to bring their family with them over to NYC for a year, according to one teacher

#1  NY Post ran their version of this story yesterday. It's not going away. The (former) principal will eventually lose his job and his whore-wife will get hers too
