FTX Funded Research Claiming Ivermectin Is Ineffective against Covid

[SLAY] The recently-imploded cryptocurrency exchange FTX funded the phony research that claimed Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine were ineffective when used to treat COVID-19.

New details are continuing to emerge that reveal how far-reaching the influence of FTX and its CEO and founder Sam Bankman-Fried was in the United States and beyond.

As Slay News has reported, FTX and its executives were political megadonors in recent years.

Bankman-Fried plowed millions of dollars into Democrat President Joe Biden’s campaign and Democratic Party groups during the 2020 elections.
As well as the Methodist church
During the 2022 midterms cycle alone, Bankman-Fried funneled almost $40 million into the Democrats, making him the second-largest Democratic Party donor after George Soros.

Now it has emerged that FTX funded the research that was used by politicians and the corporate media to debunk suggestions that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine could be used as a cheap and effective treatment against Covid.

While pharmaceutical companies scrambled to get their Covid vaccines rolled out to the public, some health professionals argued that the readily available antiviral drugs could be used to treat patients who would otherwise die.

However, the drugs were banned from being used to treat dying patients.

FTX plowed $18 million into the research behind a study on Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine that claimed these two products didn’t work against Covid.

The studies were "stopped early" for these two drugs due to "futility."
