The former vice president of Afghanistan referred to the ongoing massacre of civilians, including women and kiddies, in the Daikundi province of central Afghanistan as a "clear example of crime against humanity" and urged the international community and rights organizations, in particular, the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), to investigate and put an end to the atrocity.
The Islamic Emirate’s forces raided the village of Siyuk-Shaibar in Daikundi province on Friday morning, November 25, according to reports from Daikundi, where 9 civilians were reportedly killed.

once again created a calamity in Daikundi," the leader of the Justice and Freedom Party of Afghanistan posted on the official page of the party on Facebook. "No logical justification can be offered for forcing people out of their houses and shooting them."
Bitter responses have followed shootings of civilians in Daikundi province. Dawood Sarkhosh, a well-known Afghan singer, is one of many who condemned this tragedy.
"Nine people, both young and old, have died so far in the rough and small village of Siyuk-Shaibar, where life itself is a struggle. The Emirate soldiers killed civilians, destroyed homes, and chained six young men who were taken to an anonymous place," Sarkhosh wrote on his Facebook page.
"What will happen to the injured is unknown," Sarkhosh expressed concern saying that "it is clear that we value compassion and patriotism, and support one another with our hearts."
Domestic media reported that at least 200 Islamic Emirate soldiers raided the village, citing their local sources. The Taliban, however, has yet to respond to the mass killing of civilians in Daikundi.
