Country singer Jake Flint dies in his sleep at 37 on wedding night
2022-11-30
[Independent] Country music artist Jake Flint died in his sleep just hours after his wedding on Saturday 26 November, it has emerged.

His wife Brenda Flint posted a video clip from their wedding and captioned the post: "I don’t understand."

Flint, 37, was based in Tulsa, and grew up in Holdenville.

The cause of his death has not yet been determined.

His long-time publicist Clif Doyal said to The Oklahoman: "He was not only a client, he was a dear friend and just a super nice guy. As you can see from the outpouring on social media, he was loved by everybody. I think a lot of it was just that he was a people person, and he had an amazing sense of humour."

#24  Sheesh Dudes! Please at least take a pepcid/famotidine each time you take the Aspirin or other NSAID.
First year med school trying to look cool reading new England journal of medicine in library, got nothing good out of it other than a study using the then new fiberoptic endoscope determined jalapeno pepper extract did nothing; but a liquid aspirin infusion caused multiple little hemorrhages to pop out. Your stomach slows down at night, so the pill sits on your stomach lining longer. Your mileage may differ but please be cautious! Sorry so late posting this been stomping out disease all day.

#23  The best you can hope for is to learn how to install high-quality hangovers correctly. And conduct palliative treatment after the fact.

Prevention is for dweebs.

#22  Forestalling hangovers is a continuous process.

#21  Triple distilled Irish whisky is my friend. Too many NDAIDs are hard on your kidneys

#20  Hangover? Definitely the aspirin or ibuprofen. Lots of water before crashing. Leave the window open even if it's freezing out.

#19  Shit! And I thought I was the only one taking two ibuprofen every night.

#18  /\ Drillers and roughnecks consume alcohol? Learning something new here nearly every day.

#17  I take 2-4 every night. It began at the height of independent oil days. I simply could not function the next day based on the volume of alcohol the brain trust consumed leading me to move on to Coor's Lite. It was still challenging on weekends if I tried to go along volumetrically.

I also discovered after I began the regimen that it was an enormous aid post work out. I've been a gym rat since my early 20's and aspirin really takes the edge off accumulated inflammation.

Never had any problems with bleeding or coagulation and it's been long enough to tell.

Real shame about the guy from Holdenville.

#16  /\ Like some of you I suspect, my "healthy skepticism" of gov't was born form local draft board college deferments circa 1969. Have not been able to shake it since. Flare ups of skepticism are gaining in frequency.

#15  ^ Indeed...smart move on your part with the Aspirin dose. The fact that we're on the 'Burg shows we have a healthy skepticism if not outright distrust of the Gov't.

#14  ^ Some people trust the State. Imagine living like that...

#13  Read on another site that Jake was full vacc'd and boosted and proud of it. Enough to post a photo of his Vax card.

#12  For a month after I took the J&J shot, I took 2x325mg aspirin twice a day, then reverted to my 81mg first thing in the morning after that.

#11  Anyone else here to take'em, have an opinion, comment, etc ?

Had a moderate stroke in 2012, been taking 1 full strength aspirin twice a day. Can't recall the actual medical term for my problem, but basically sticky blood due to some platelet issue.

I'm un-jabbed, and plan to remain that way. In my mid 60's.

#10  I did that for years B, supposedly for potential heart conditions (they occur in some of my family line). Two years ago, my long-time doctor told me that they're finding that it really wasn't as good for you as they used to think.

Check with yours.

#9  #4 same here. My doctors said and say to this day. Given that prior to my procto exams they say DO NOT for a couple of days prior, I suspect the blood thinning qualities are helpful in reducing build ups and getting around obstructions in the blood system. As we get higher in age, poking around down there for the exam starts to become a danger in and of itself. An ooops can create a lot of bad complications.

#7  Like a lot of people. I am wondering if the Vax-ccident played a role.

"... study showed that immune function among vaccinated individuals 8 months after the administration of two doses of COVID-19 vaccine was lower than that among unvaccinated individuals.

#6  RE #4.
I suspect you have many other healthy habits that are more beneficial.

#5  I slam 2 Advil PM, 38mg every night.
Some times works, some times not.
Posted by: Skidmark   2022-11-30 06:19

#4  I take an 81mg aspirin before going to bed each night. Done it for years. Can't even remember how I got started.

Anyone else here to take'em, have an opinion, commment, etc ?

#2  Currently among the vaxed many sick with a flu. So much so that stores are emptied of OTC cold meds. Antibiotics out of stock like Amoxicillin and Tamiflu. Death rates among vaccinated exceed deaths among non vaxed. 40 million insurance pay-out pre-covid now billions in payouts for deaths. Deaths from undetermined cause more than ever. Highest number of children's coffins being ordered. This was expected but ignored. If you survive you will carry issues for the rest of your life. The gift that keeps on giving. It is however for the greater good.

#1  How about someone in government or the medical community muster the courage to tell us exactly what is going on here ?
