| Islah Party forces strike against southern Yemeni separatists in Hadhramaut |

| [HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Forces of the First Military Region, a unit affiliated with the Islah party, have foiled a first offensive operation against its gunnies in the city of Seiyoun, the capital of Hadhramaut governorate, eastern Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... According to sources, Islah gunnies arrested a cell loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), which was in possession of a number of improvised bombs at the entrances to Seiyoun, during the search process. Source confirmed that STC loyalists tried to bring bombs into the city during an event they tried to hold on Friday on the occasion of UAE National Day in the city. On Saturday, the so-called Southern Resistance® in Hadhramaut called for armed struggle against the forces of the First Military Region in the region, because of their "barbaric repressive practices" against the people of the valley districts. |
