Andrei Vetluzhskikh noted that the trade union makes sure that the management of the plants does not allow abuses against employees. According to him,employees of enterprises "absolutely" increased wages.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on special measures in the economy in the face of a military operation in July. The law allows the government to establish the procedure and conditions for attracting employees of enterprises working for defense to work overtime. Rostec transferred several enterprises to overtime work back in August. Among them is Uralvagonzavod.
As Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said, in 2023 the volume of state defense orders will be increased by 1.5 times. The minister claims that this will provide the Russian army with weapons and equipment by 97%.

To date, no changes have been made to the federal law "On military duty and military service" regarding the terms of service in the army. This was reported on December 17 in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"Legal regulation in the field of military duty and military service is carried out by the Federal Law of March 28, 1998 No. 53-FZ “On military duty and military service”. Article 38 of the Federal Law establishes that the period of military service for conscripted military personnel is 12 months," the ministry said.
Also, the federal ministry stressed that "any changes in the legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of changing the terms of military service on conscription" are currently not proposed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
