FBI Sent Scrambling By Republican Accusation
2022-12-31
[Republic Brief] The FBI has been under scrutiny and Republicans have had enough, calling out the agency. Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan has accused the FBI of intentionally purging conservative employees from its ranks under President Joe Biden’s administration.
Could it be that not everyone is fully on board with top floor decision making ?
Conservative Brief reported that Jordon, who is poised to become chairman of the House Judiciary Committee when Republicans take control of the chamber on Jan. 3, sent several letters to the FBI alleging the agency removed critics of Biden and his administration from their posts.

Last week, Jordan argued that he believes there’s been a seismic shift regarding the ongoing federal investigation of President Biden’s son Hunter Biden.
Wonder where he might have discovered that ?
In an interview on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, the Ohio Republican suggested "something is up" with the probe because of a new interest in the story by many of the same media outlets that initially dismissed reports of corruption evidence stemming from materials and emails obtained from a laptop he reportedly abandoned at a computer repair store in Delaware in 2019.

"Well, what happened to that is you had 51 intelligence officers sign a letter saying that this Hunter Biden story was Russian misinformation when it wasn’t, and that changed — I think anyone can make a credible argument that that altered the outcome of the election and we no longer have Donald Trump in the White House because he was doing that, he was pushing back on China for the first time. And now, we have Joe Biden there and it’s exactly the opposite direction," Jodan said.

Jordan has requested that Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and other high-ranking Biden administration officials voluntarily testify before the committee.
Best of luck with your effort there.
They can always refuse to fund the things and approve the nominations and promotions of the people they want until compliance is achieved...
"Under Jordan, the committee is set to continue an investigation into the Biden administration’s ’misuse of federal criminal and counterterrorism resources to target concerned parents at school board meetings’ after Jordan said whistleblowers shared information that the White House ’colluded with the National School Boards Association to manufacture a pretext for the use of federal law enforcement authorities against parents,’" Fox News reported.

#11  the FBI is funded by House appropriations and they can,and should, not fund unless changed.

#10  there are only a couple entities capable of "dismantling" the FBI.

One very effective way would be for 'citizens' to basically operate in the court room upon the presumption that any testimony by a representative of such organization is lying through their teeth giving zero credence in any trial situation.

#9  #3 point is well made. Executive gig at a tech company was the new white shoe law firm career progression out of the Bureau.

#8  I doubt very much the FBI is "scrambling". They're protected as an militant enforcer arm of the Socialist party.

Defund the FBI and let the socialists find a way to pay for it. Maybe then all the agents will get jobs with Antifa.

#5  ^ Well, it is a problem. "I'd trust you exactly why?" is not a comfortable question in any job interview.

#4  In the end everyone in the FBI has lost prestige which was also leveraged for high compensation in the private section.

Not to be argumentative, but how does one 'lose' what one never actually had ?

#3  They are exposed and don’t like it. It is basically a wedgie level annoyance but not one they ever expected. The scenario where somebody forks out $4B for an unprofitable shell company that is really a government psyop for the purposes of making it worth less by exposing it’s collusion and corruption was beyond unlikely. In the end everyone in the FBI has lost prestige which was also leveraged for high compensation in the private section.

#2  Like any corrupt organization, there are wheels within wheels and the ones at the top have to be on the lookout for trouble close to home.

It will get interesting.
