#15  Razin' Cain

Two enabling acts no one owns:
Your mysterious death, Gareth Jones,
And the starving of millions
Of Stalin's civilians.
The Times goes ballistic:
"It's just a statistic!"
Oh, no! Uncle Joe
Throws the stone to a foe
Who would use it on him!
Enter God, looking grim;
Quickly given the hook,
He returns to His Book.
Cue Max Fleischer cartoon: dancing bones.

Whew.

Try saying this in Bucha.

#12  "ignoring"? How about "deflecting". For someone who talks to a LOT of diverse (and later unidentifiable) people, they never cover that topic

#11  Remember Russia only sent in 20,000 because the Ukrainians were brothers for many years.

From time to time brothers in the Cain and Abel style, Dale. You seem to be completely ignoring the Holodomor years that shaped the outlook of modern Ukrainians, when Stalin’s forced collectivization of Ukraine’s Kulak independent small farmers coupled with increased production demands to resulte in the starvation deaths of between 3 million and 9 million Ukrainians — unlike the Nazis, the Communists did not bother to keep accurate records of such things.

Think Irish Potato Famine, only deliberately engineered for the effect.

#10  It seems in the middle 90s Pakistan wanted some cheap good tanks so bought 380 some T80s from Ukraine and manufactured in Kharkov. They still use them. Pakistan never forgot. When India made the oil deal with Russia after the war started Pakistan decided to sell weapons to India's ally Russia’s enemy making a point to India and return of a favor to Ukraine and make $. England has been transporting the ammo from Pakistan.

#4  #1 Remember Russia only sent in 20,000 because the Ukrainians were brothers for many years. The soft approach didn't work. So now Russia is amassing everything. The backbone of Z is the west. First you bully, then sanctions, send money, equipment then troops. WW11 was the beginning at its end. How many wars or conflicts have we had since then and what was accomplished. Create emergencies and send money and who benefits from this spending. Emotion rules the herd. Logic is abandoned.

#3  Yes, Dale. Barques. Outdoors for sure.

#2  Ukraine has lost nothing. Russia just sent in 120 missiles they don't have and Ukrainians shot them all down. I suppose all that black smoke was the result of festivities from outdoor barques. This is Western media. No such thing as the fog of war. Create, post and pass it on. Well as winter sets in things will be difficult to spin. The Northern areas are frozen but the southern areas remain unfrozen as yet.

Putin, has learned Ukraine is not a cakewalk, like other former USSR satellites have been over the last 30 years.

The Ukraine war, has all but totally destroyed Putin's security of leadership role.

As can be seen by the Sudden Russian Death Syndrome of those that present a threat to his rule.
