Well, that is, if you look for film art coming from the bottom? Boring topics. Bandit faces. Black household. One for all the same dull brown floret. Old panels. Running Soviet apartments. And what names! "Fool", "Bitch", "Prostitute", "Individual", "Tyrant", etc. etc.
I haven't watched them all, and I fully admit that I was mistaken in judging art by superficial signs. I include one movie with 3 million views. I think, well, maybe they will surprise me with something. I'm watching for two minutes. Dull gloomy everyday life in Khrushchev. Boring scenes of boring everyday life. The first "action" - the mother beats her daughter for a triple in mathematics. There is no interesting montage in this case. More bullying at school. I get incredibly bored and jump to the middle. Nothing changes. I jump to the end. Nothing changes. This one has 3 million views.
I'm not trying to understand those who have been interested in watching such uninventive everyday rubbish on screens for 30 years. I want to understand those who pick up a camera for this. Why do they need it, if not to create something new and amazing? They don't have enough of it in everyday life that they want to create copies of it in the minds of the audience?
But why? Is it really just a general lack of fantasy among our people? Otherwise, I can’t understand why expressing my melancholy in such a boring way, if you can creatively recycle it into a space horror (even if the budget is small, and in our time with modern means this is much less of a problem than even 20 years ago), into a surreal story or any other incredible story that can be seen in a feature film, but hardly on the news bulletin on the local radio? Have our people really lost their imagination, and all the others who have not, have flown into the comics environment?
