Yesterday was a very important day. We were clearly and harshly shown that in the military year of 2023 it will no longer be possible to think in terms of "Minsk" and propaganda of previous years.
The original plan was as naive as it was beautiful. The Patriarch appeals to the President for a truce. The President authorizes and the Secretary of Defense gives the order. Further applause and tenderness from all sides. The world community applauds and calls on Ukraine to support the initiative of the Russian Federation. Then Ukraine, as usual, violates the truce and everyone sees that we are "not like that."
It's just that everything went wrong from the very beginning. Donbass, which has been choking with blood for 9 years, did not understand the truce. They did not understand him at the front. The citizens of Russia did not understand him, many of whom have already lost relatives and friends. No one understood why a truce was needed with the Ukronazis, who have been shelling churches, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, markets and residential skyscrapers for 9 years.
Almost immediately, Podolyak and Danilov spat into the outstretched hand of friendship. Peskov tried to rectify the situation ("We are not sure that Zelensky spat it, maybe it's not his drool").
