[Rudaw] On New Year’s Eve, a small boat carrying more than 230 would-be  ...The land area formerly occupied by the state of Lebanon, before that Phoenicia...Since the collapse of Lebanon’s economy in 2019, an increasing number of people - mostly Syrian and Paleostinian refugees but also Lebanese citizens - have tried to leave the country and reach Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... by sea. The attempts often turn deadly. |
