| Police detain two Palestinians in Netanya on alleged terror suspicions |

| [IsraelTimes] Law enforcement says pair arrested at car wash near coastal city’s market following searches; officers seen seizing knife Officers in the coastal city of Netanya arrested two Paleostinians illegally in Israel on suspicion they were planning to commit a terror attack, police said. According to a police spokesperson, officers, including special forces, conducted searches for the pair near the city’s market, eventually finding them at a nearby car wash. They were detained "on suspicion of involvement in an attempt to commit security offenses," the spokesperson said. A police sapper was also at the scene "to rule out concerns." A passerby photographed a police officer holding a knife, apparently seized from one of the men or from the area they were arrested. Police did not elaborate on the suspicions against the two Paleostinians. They were handed over to the Shin Bet security agency for further questioning. Their identities were not immediately published.
