#7 ...A couple times since we've been here, USMC has done urban training in Columbia - we have a huge park in the center of town that's perfect for helo landings, and the crowd absolutely love it. And somehow, no one seems to think that WWIII has started. Mike Mike |

#5 So, the Seals and FBI HRT are in the area. They do joint exercises there yearly. They do training exercises in LA as well. We have been doing them since the early 90's. This all take the misconception that the military just sits in the fort waiting, and not training in the nation they are supposed to defend. |
