| #2 Russia or China regardless, the industrial base to sustain combat was allowed to diminish both by pols both in an out of uniform. Cutting edge tech and big construction projects get the priorities. If it wasn't for the ground war in Iraq and Afghanistan a lot of material and equipment upgrades for the ground pounders would never have seen the light of day because for decades they were at the bottom of priorities. |
