| #4 Well she is half Jamaican. Wasn't Jamaca where slaves were transported to and 'trained'? And then traded to southern slaveholders? I am recalling from my grade-middle school history class so correct me if I'm wrong. |

| #3 That area called the "Slave Coast" was also known as the Fever Coast for the endemic diseases, lethal diseases, that wreaked havoc on Europeans that visited there. Malaria, Yellow Fever, Cholera and seemingly endless other 'local tropical fevers' made the place a death ground. The locals, such as the Ashanti, sold their war captives to the Europeans ...it was simply too deadly for Europeans to stay and raid. |
