#4 didn't see anywhere near this level of injury in the late 70s. Soldiers are now carrying a lot more weight w/ body armor and kit. |

#1 ...This ain't new. I get most of my medical care at FT Jackson, SC, and there's always a bunch of kids in there on crutches or with slings of one sort or another. On the one hand, they ALWAYS seem polite and motivated to this retiree - but OTOH, we didn't see anywhere near this level of injury in the late 70s. Mike |
