| #3 The MTBF for many Solar Panels has been seen to be about 10 to 12 years, depending on climate, weather and other variables. Some as low as 7 years. The typical home needs around a $15,000 8kw install with batteries to run 24/7. The break even R.O.I. Payback Period is about 11.5 to 14 Years depending on state, federal, incentives and other inducements . BTW: A 2 ac field with over 100 Solar Panels was placed in front of Cross Creek HS in Augusta, Ga. It lasted 1 week and was removed. |
