[REGNUM] An unexploded ordnance explosion in the Saydabad district of the central Afghan province of Wardak killed five children and seriously injured two more. This was reported on April 29 by the Pajhwok agency.As explained in the local Ministry of Health, the children were no more than 12 years old. The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated.
According to the publication, in Afghanistan, cases of death of children who find ammunition are not uncommon.
