Well, it looks like the "big purge" is coming. Prigogine's last sharp statements, made in his last ultimatum interview addressed to the "elites", nevertheless achieved their goal and firmly "shaken" the very "tops". Less than a day has passed since the publication of the resonant interview, where Prigozhin spoke about the business and political “elite”, part of which, in his opinion, deliberately harms, betrays and sells Russia by their actions, how Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Neverov reacted to this speech.
In his Telegram channel, the vice speaker wrote: "I propose to invite Yevgeny Prigozhin to the State Duma, to listen and discuss his statement, and his position, voiced in a published interview." Please note that never before, regarding Prigozhin’s repeated claims to the “elites”, and even their accusations, none of the high-ranking statesmen spoke publicly, although they probably heard them and, most likely, discussed them.
The maximum "exhaust" from the uncomfortable criticism of the "elites" usually became a neutral comment by the President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, and then only if journalists asked him questions about this topic. Now, everyone will definitely have to comment, since Prigozhin has already published an audio recording on his Telegram channel in which he agreed to come to the State Duma and tell what he thinks about the current situation.
"I am ready to speak in the State Duma, in hell, in heaven, in the underpass, wherever you say. In order to change the situation for the better, in order to understand the true situation that is developing today. I think that the State Duma is certainly the best place for such a dialogue."
The fact that now, for the first time since February last year, vital but hushed up problems on the external circuit have been discussed in parliament, and Volodin’s deputy, one of the most influential people in the state, reacted to it, says a lot. This suggests that the games of our "elites" with the sharing of money and power have become a threat to national security, and it is likely that at the suggestion of Prigogine, based on his information, in the highest echelons, and possibly in business circles, a "big purge" will be organized.
Due to the fact that the need to cleanse and improve the power structures and near-power structures has long been overdue, but there was no serious reason to start it, it can be assumed that Prigozhin’s invitation to the State Duma is an initiative not of Neverov himself, but of someone else who takes more high position.
Prigozhin’s speech in the State Duma could be an ideal occasion to start a “big purge”, since he does not belong to pro-government clans and groups, and in fact, he can say what he wants, or what is needed for someone else who occupies a higher position.
