A Bakhmut Reversal?

#6  Maybe. Reading the southern attack is already 6km wide and have crossed the canal. Believe the Russian supply base at Klischiivka is the immediate objective with the added benefit of cutting off the Russians that were attacking toward Ivanivske and Chasiv Yar.

I don't think the Ukrainians want to press the attack too far, unless as you say, the Russians break and run. It would distract from main attack. But this is also good practice for going on the offensive. See what works before mistakes get expensive.

#5   A Wagner affiliated blogger shows the territory lost (in blue) in the past 2 days.

Limited counterattack at best. Now if the Russians break and route, it could turn into something bigger. But as of right now, limited counterattack.

#3  It's more territory than you think. A Wagner affiliated blogger shows the territory lost (in blue) in the past 2 days. Other gains have been made by the Ukrainians. How hard the Ukrainians are going to push in Bakhmut is unknown.

#2  I wouldn't consider a 2km gain over 3km a reversal. Slap in the face for Russia, yes. If it was followed up with an armored fist for a breakthrough it would be a reversal.

But, it does show the poor supply, moral and training that the Russians have currently. That could be exploited elsewhere.

#1  Soldiers of the 3rd Brigade (AZOV) near the Industrial College in Bakhmut, which has been the site of fierce fighting for several weeks. The enemy was driven back from there, which is good news.

Ukrainians lost the Bakhmut Industrial College two weeks ago. It is in SW side the city on the H32 highway.
