‘Grave Injustice': Bill Barr Reacts To Durham Investigation

[Daily Caller] Former Attorney General Bill Barr reacted to the Durham report Tuesday on Fox News’ Special Report, calling the Russia collusion narrative a "grave injustice" to former President Donald Trump.

Special counsel John Durham found the FBI used "uncorroborated intelligence" when it launched its investigation into Trump ahead of the 2016 election. The report also found agents failed to maintain "strict fidelity to the law" throughout their investigation. The FBI later made a tacit admission the Durham report is accurate, acknowledging the errors made in 2016.

Durham was appointed by Barr and tasked with investigating Crossfire Hurricane, which was the investigation into Trump’s 2016 campaign that alleged Russian collusion.

"I think [the Durham report] helps him in the short term. My own view is that he will not win the nomination," Barr said. "And I have nothing personal against him ... but I just don’t think he’s the right leader for the Republican Party going forward. I think people who want to restore America should look for a big victory that brings strength into the Congress and allows us to achieve some fundamental changes."

#5 Nothing in that report is news to Barr. It is basically a report that could have been titled "Things that Bill Barr ignored while AG".

#4 The Durham Report provides even those left-of-center talking heads like Tapper with incontrovertible proof of massive, coordinated, seditious conspiracy involving elements of the DoJ/FBI/IC/Media and the DNC/Hillary. Largest most corrupt political conspiracy in American history, stunningly bold in its efforts to defeat a political candidate, and obviously the basis for the subsequent, endless persecution efforts against a sitting US President.

What beggars the imagination, is, given the scale of this, why no one in the media will not see that those who would exercise this massive and coordinated an effort, would be capable, and expected, to work dishonestly to subvert the re-election of that same President. Given what we now see as certainty about the scale and brazen objectives of defeating Trump in 2016, we are somehow expected to accept that they "wouldn't dare" subvert an election in 2020? The massive, punitive reactions by the J6 Committe, Dominion and others to investigations of obviously concerning irregularities begs the question, and invokes the sage comment: "Methinks the Lady doth protest too much!"
