At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a strike with missile weapons and kamikaze UAVs at enemy targets in Kyiv, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Kharkov, Cherkasy region. Guided air bombs hit targets in the Kherson region (Berislav). The enemy evaluates the raid as a complex attack, reports the use of Caliber and Daggers by our troops. In Kyiv, presumably in the Svyatoshinsky district, the blow fell on the location of Ukrainian air defense systems.
In the Artyomovsk direction, Wagner PMCs are developing an offensive against the remnants of the Ukrainian garrison on the western outskirts of the city in high-rise buildings. By the evening of May 16, 2023, 37 skyscrapers out of 48 were taken.
In the Bryansk region, an air defense system in Klintsy shot down a Ukrainian aircraft-type UAV. There were no casualties.
In the LPR, as a result of an explosion in the center of Luhansk, 7 people were injured. 4 of them, including a 17-year-old teenager and Igor Kornet, are in serious condition - the acting head of the LPR. Also on May 15, 2023, at 0800, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on the city of Lugansk (LPR) using two Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
The enemy fired 309 rounds of ammunition in the DPR. Gorlovka, Zaitsevo, Yasinovataya, Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk, Volnovakha, Vladimirovka were under fire. A woman was killed, 9 civilians were injured.
