#10  Useless against drones, the Russian's biggest nemesis. The Russians would have been much better off with Dusters.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainians are getting Gepards from Germany that use air burst ammunition. Works against aircraft and cruise missiles too.

#8  When I was in the 101st we heard stories of them using the Vulcan 20mm anti-air Gatling gun as anti-personal weapon. After watching a live fire of it, everything including small trees, from the knee up was gone. Damn impressive.

#6  Knew a sargent in 101st that, while one RNR rotation in Da Nang, found a wrecked Coast Guard cutter (!?) that had a quad 50 rig on it.
Had, as in, it had been there, until Sgt Brooks and crew got there, disassembled it and carried it off. Put it together under a tent at their firebase, and waited for the NVA to mortar them from the mountain in the distance. And then responded with it.
They called it the "Tree Trimmer".

#3  If it works. Downwind of a flak cannon sounds awful.

Now, firing ever increasingly towards perpendicular to the frame might get interesting.

#2  The stuff that we see in Africa, the Middle East and even now Ukraine is either genius or pure insanity.

#1  That's a 57mm self-propelled anti-aircraft gun.

Dude talks like that's never been done before and is a buffoon thing.

I sure wouldn't sit tall in the saddle and make a silhouette.
