[NPASyria] Ottoman Turkish forces in eastern Idlib moved their military positions to the frontline with the Syrian government forces as talks regarding the re-opening of the M4 highway are underway, exclusive sources told North Press on Monday.
Military sources in the Syrian opposition said that Ottoman Turkish forces evacuated their posts in the cities of Sarmin and Binnish, in eastern Idlib, and moved them to areas abutting government forces on the M4 Highway.
The sources added that three posts in east of Binnish were moved to the towns of Afes and Taftanaz, in eastern Idlib, which are adjacent to government forces in Saraqib and Talhiyeh. They also moved another post at Sarmin to the village of Maaret Alya, west of Saraqib.
The sources noted that these changes come amid talks between The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
 ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
and Russia to re-open the M4 highway for commercial activities.
In the coming days, the source said, Ottoman Turkish forces will redeploy to the M4 highway with the aim of securing the international road. |
