[MAIL] Government officials are investigating a mysterious company that has bought around 55,000 acres of dry farmland around a USAF base in California. I'll take Delaware based Crime Family LLC's for $600. Alex. Travis Air Force base, northeast of San Francisco, houses large transport aircraft used for refueling smaller planes and sending aid and munitions around the world. Starting in 2018, a company called Flannery Associates LLC has spent around $800million buying swathes of land around the base, leaving local, state and federal officials flummoxed as to who they are and what they want with it. An attorney representing Flannery told The Wall Street Journal the company is controlled by US citizens and that 97 percent of its capital comes from American investors - with the remaining investments coming from British and Irish citizens. |

#5 It's rare when you don't see a company registered in Delaware. Nevada is another one, but if you see one of those, it's most likely a junk penny stock. A pity the Big Guy ruined what there might be to like about Delaware, a state with no sales tax. |

#4 I don’t think Disney has the money to buy anything. It is either the CCP or Bill Gates. Deciding which is more malignant is akin to deciding between a chocolate or strawberry Frosty, entirely to taste. In reality, Bill Gates is not buying the property. |

#3 Maybe it's the Disney folks, preparing for Disney Universe, even bigger than Disney World! |

#2 “In a recent federal court filing, Flannery Associates said it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Flannery Holdings, a limited liability company registered in Delaware. LLCs registered in Delaware don’t have to publicly disclose the identity of their owners. Link |
