Harvard University Encourages Students to go on Food Stamps While Sitting on $53 Billion Endowment
2023-08-16
[Gateway] Harvard University is encouraging their students to sign up for food stamps despite the fact that the school is sitting on an endowment that is worth over $50 billion dollars.

Harvard would prefer that their students get food assistance from American taxpayers than from the massive, tax-free nest egg they’re saving for a rainy day.

Do the people who run Harvard have any shame?
No. That's why they work so well in the Federal Government

#7  My college offered free coffee refills at the student union. I carried that cup with me all day.
Same at the Burger King with salad bar refills.
I also worked delivering then bussing tables for a pizza restaurant. They had a 'cleanup, take home' policy.

#6  How many of those students are also on some form of student loan/grant from the federal government? Teaching dependency as a lifetime pattern, classic Marxist mindset.

#5  Harvard needs to ensure that the students use every tool to control their finances or they won’t have money available to donate once they are alumni.

#2  Our young socialist cadres must learn to sustain themselves through the feckless charity of the bourgeois. Our endowments are intended to further the political cause, not rations.

#1  Harvard is an investment fund fronted by school. When the Left says the rich don't pay taxes, its pure Freudian projection.
