[ColonelCassad] At night, the enemy tried to land the DRG in the area of Cape Tarkhankut on 6 boats (40 people in total).
Having limited themselves to staged shots and shooting in the direction of a local boarding house, the DRG tried to retreat, but was covered.
According to official figures, 25 people were killed and 4 boats were destroyed (from the available videos there are only a couple of corpses on the shore). The survivors fled in the direction of Nikolaev. The Ukrainian Armed Forces say they were able to sail away without loss.
This is a continuation of the already observed activity of the enemy in the area of Zmeiny Island and Chernomorneftegaz towers.
Obviously, the event was prepared in the form of a victory for the "independence day", but something went wrong.
There was some kind of jamb on the part of the border guards, because, as they say, local motor boats could move around the cape without an identification signal, which the enemy took advantage of, taking advantage of the fact that boats with DRGs could not be distinguished from ordinary small boats. Now the investigation is underway and it is obvious that measures to control the water space in this area will be strengthened.
The enemy, of course, continues to look for gaps and vulnerabilities in our defense systems and these attempts should not be underestimated. Because now the enemy has broken off, but next time the result could be completely different.

“Speaking about the activity of ukrosaboteurs in the Black Sea and their attempt to jump into the Crimea, one must understand two things.
First, of course, this is media activity, like a significant part of such Ukrainian actions, including commemorative races on our territory in the Belgorod and Bryansk regions.
Secondly, it all lasts as long as the Ukrainian has the opportunity to do it. And there is such a possibility, since we do not control the Ukrainian coast, and our intelligence over the sea leaves much to be desired. The latter is understandable - keeping ships capable of tracking sabotage boats near the Ukrainian coast is simply dangerous, given the presence of coastal missile systems at the Khokhol and the duty of NATO aircraft and reconnaissance drones over Romania and the Black Sea.
A comprehensive solution should work, including both ships outside the range of coastal missiles and aerial reconnaissance, but for aerial reconnaissance, the aviation of the Black Sea Fleet must have much more means than it currently has, including drones, including large drones such as the same "Orionov / Pacers" for long patrols. Unfortunately, one cannot dream of promising reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters - they first need to be created and launched into a series, which will obviously not happen in the next year or even in the next five years.
And, of course, it is necessary to change the very approach to exploration, which should be continuous in this direction, without “windows”. The lack of observation on our part in NATO is quite capable of fixing, and even more so, they are able to transfer this information to a Ukrainian who will be able to use the “window”. And as long as there are such windows, jumping on Tarkhankut and other convenient places from small boats and boats will continue.
