[RedStar] Unsuccessful assaults on our defensive lines without the support of armored vehicles lead to huge losses in the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At a briefing last Friday, the results of hostilities for the week were summed up. During this time, as a result of the effective actions of our troops in all directions, the enemy nowhere had any success in trying to move forward. At the same time, wherever Ukrainian formations launched attacks, they suffered very heavy losses in manpower and equipment. In the Kupyansk direction, the tactical position of the units of the Western Group of Forces has been improved by capturing enemy strongholds and key heights.
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to compensate for the failed actions on land with terrorist attacks on our facilities using air and sea drones.
The duty forces destroy them before approaching the assigned targets. And our high-precision long-range weapons always confirm their performance characteristics by hitting targets deep behind enemy lines.
The situation on the line of contact at the time of preparing the material for publication over the past two days has not changed significantly. All attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been repelled. Our troops in the Donetsk direction have improved their position along the front line.
On September 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation summed up the results of military operations during a special military operation in the period from August 25 to September 1.
During this time, the official representative of the Russian military department, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, said that our Armed Forces delivered five group strikes with long-range air and sea-based high-precision weapons at enemy command posts, radio and electronic intelligence centers, its port infrastructure facilities, storage areas ammunition and Western weapons, as well as airfields.
As a result of the strikes, the control of the strategic radio interference system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was disrupted, workshops for assembling unmanned boats used by the Kiev regime for terrorist acts, air defense systems, multiple launch rocket systems, armored vehicles, as well as Western-made aircraft weapons were destroyed.
As for the situation on the line of contact, during the week the most difficult and tense situation developed in the Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the armed forces of Ukraine made 44 unsuccessful attempts to attack the positions of our units.
“In order to step up efforts to break through the defense of our troops, one of the last formations of the strategic reserve, the 71st Jaeger Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is being transferred to this direction,” said an official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry.
As a result of the selfless and competent actions of the military personnel of the Zaporozhye group of troops, all enemy attacks were repelled. During the week, more than 960 Ukrainian soldiers, 24 armored combat vehicles of various modifications, 28 vehicles and 45 field artillery pieces were destroyed.
The high loss of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the so-called counter-offensive is due to the effective defeat of Ukrainian armored vehicles by our troops on the distant approaches. This leads to the fact that the command of the formations of the armed forces of Ukraine purposefully throws personnel without cover into the "meat" assaults. Ukrainian soldiers are being driven forward, they are trying on foot to overcome the mine-explosive barriers installed by our sappers ... With all the ensuing, deplorable consequences for them.
During the week, Russian troops repelled 36 attacks in the Donetsk direction, during which the enemy lost up to 2,385 Ukrainian servicemen, 30 tanks and other armored vehicles, 75 vehicles and 21 field artillery pieces.
In the South Donetsk direction, the most fierce battles were fought south of the village of Staromayorskoe of the Donetsk People's Republic. As a result of clear control, well-coordinated actions of units of Russian groupings of troops in cooperation with aviation and artillery, all enemy offensive plans were thwarted. All attacks were repulsed by a complex fire defeat, courageous actions of the units of the Vostok group of troops.
“The total losses of the enemy for the week amounted to 1,025 Ukrainian servicemen, 13 armored combat vehicles, 26 vehicles, and 26 field artillery pieces,” Lt. Gen. Igor Konashenkov listed.
In the Donetsk direction, numerous attempts by units of the Ukrainian grouping of troops "Soledar" to break through the Russian defenses in the areas of the settlements of Kleshcheevka and Maloiliinovka of the Donetsk People's Republic ended in failure. In the Kupyansk direction, the tactical position of the units of the Western Group of Forces has been improved by capturing enemy strongholds and key heights. Subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered significant damage. Enemy losses for the week amounted to 470 Ukrainian servicemen, 22 armored combat vehicles, 21 vehicles, and 18 field artillery pieces.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, units of the "Center" grouping of troops successfully repelled 14 enemy attacks during the week. Enemy losses during the week amounted to 540 Ukrainian servicemen, 22 armored combat vehicles, 13 vehicles and 10 field artillery pieces.
In the Kherson direction, the main efforts were concentrated on the fire destruction of enemy manpower, counter-battery combat, the search for and destruction of sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and the prohibition of enemy landings on the islands. According to the testimonies of the captured servicemen of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade, most of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuse to carry out the tasks of forcing the Dnieper, fearing imminent death from Russian fire. In this direction, the enemy lost up to 230 Ukrainian servicemen, 31 vehicles and 19 field artillery guns in a week.
The Black Sea Fleet has established constant monitoring of the situation by all types of reconnaissance in the Black Sea. On August 29-30, this allowed the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet to thwart an attempt to land a detachment of special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the coast of Crimea to commit terrorist acts. Naval aircraft destroyed four military boats and up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen.
Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and air defense systems shot down four combat aircraft and one helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force during the week.
During the week, air defense and electronic warfare systems intercepted 35 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, six JDAM guided bombs, five US-made HARM anti-radar missiles, as well as the Neptune anti-ship missile and the S-200 anti-aircraft guided missile converted into a strike version. In addition, 281 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed, including one Tu-141 Strizh jet, as well as 29 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs in the western regions of the Russian Federation.
As of September 2, in the Zaporozhye direction, units of our group of forces, air strikes and artillery fire repelled four attacks by assault detachments of the 47th, 65th Mechanized, 46th Airmobile, 82nd Air Assault Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 15th Brigade of the National Guard in the areas of the villages of Rabotino and Verbove, Zaporozhye region. During the day, up to 115 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, four vehicles, two M777 artillery systems and a US-made M119 gun, two howitzers: 152m Msta-B and 152mm D-20 were destroyed. In addition, in the area of the village of Charivne, Zaporozhye region, a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar was hit.
In the Yuzhno-Donets direction, units of the Vostok group of troops, in cooperation with army aviation and artillery, inflicted fire damage on the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Ugledar in the DPR. An ammunition depot of the 117th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near the urban-type settlement of Kamyshevakh, Zaporozhye region.
“Enemy losses amounted to over 105 military personnel, four tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, six vehicles, two self-propelled artillery mounts: Akatsiya and Gvozdika, as well as two howitzers: 152mm D-20 and 122mm D-30,” the lieutenant general listed Igor Konashenkov.
In the Donetsk direction, our troops actively improved the position along the front line in the area of the village of Kleshcheevka of the DPR.
Units of the "Southern" group of forces, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, repelled five attacks by assault groups of the 129th and 241st Territorial Defense Brigades in the area of the city of Artyomovsk of the DPR, as well as three attacks by units of the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade and the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the village of Marinka, DPR.
– Over 250 Ukrainian servicemen, a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, four armored combat vehicles, two vehicles, a combat vehicle of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system, two Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mounts, two 152mm D-20 and one 122mm D-30 howitzers were destroyed , as well as the US-made M119 gun, - said the official representative of the Russian military department.
In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Western Group of Forces, with the support of aviation and artillery fire, inflicted a comprehensive fire defeat on the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade near the village of Kislovka, Kharkov region. Enemy losses amounted to up to 40 servicemen, three armored combat vehicles, two vehicles, the US-made M777 artillery system, and a 152mm D-20 howitzer.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, the coordinated actions of units of the "Center" group of troops, strikes by army aviation, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems during the day repelled two attacks by assault groups of the 5th brigade of the National Guard and the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka of the DPR and Chervonaya Dibrova LPR. In addition, units of the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit by fire in the areas of the village of Torskoye DPR and the village of Kuzmino LPR. Over 60 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, two pickup trucks and two 122mm D-30 howitzers were destroyed.
Over 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two vehicles and a 122mm D-30 howitzer were destroyed in the Kherson direction as a result of fire damage. In addition, a field ammunition depot of the 106th Territorial Defense Brigade was destroyed near the village of Tyaginka, Kherson region, and an unmanned aerial vehicle command post was hit near the village of Otradokamenka in the same region.
Crews of operational-tactical and army aviation, crews of missile troops and artillery of our troops' groupings hit the manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 108 districts. Two command and observation posts of units of the 28th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit near the village of Dyleevka in the DPR. The communication center of the 110th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near the city of Avdiivka in the DPR.
Air defense systems intercepted two HIMARS rockets and a US-made HARM anti-radar missile. In addition, 25 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed during the day in the areas of the settlements of Trudovskoe, Kodema and Klinovoe DPR, Pshenichnoe, Ocheretovatoe and Tarasovka in the Zaporozhye region, as well as Tavolzhanka in the Khar'kov region.
Yesterday's briefing, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense began with a report on the infliction of the Russian Aerospace Forces on Sunday night by unmanned aerial vehicles on fuel storage facilities used to supply military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the port of Reni in the Odessa region.
“The target of the strike has been achieved, all assigned objects have been hit,” he said.
As for the situation on the line of contact as of September 3, it was again characterized by the effective repulsion of enemy attacks in various directions.
So, in the Donetsk direction, units of the "Southern" group of forces, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, repelled four attacks by assault groups of the 4th brigade of the National Guard, the 5th assault, the 77th Airmobile and the 30th Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Artyomovsk, Dubovo-Vasilevka and Zaliznyanskoye DPR, as well as two attacks by the 110th Mechanized and 79th Air Assault Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the village of Vesyoloye and the urban-type settlement of Staromikhaylovka DPR.
“During the fighting in this direction, up to 250 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, an M777 artillery system made in the United States, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mount, as well as 152mm Msta-B and 152mm D-20 howitzers were destroyed,” he listed the losses enemy Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
In the Zaporozhye direction, units of our group of troops, with the support of aviation and artillery, repelled three attacks by assault detachments of the 47th Mechanized and 82nd Air Assault Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the villages of Rabotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye region in a day. In addition, in the areas of the settlements of Novoselovka, Chervona Krinitsa and Orekhov in the Zaporozhye region, three field depots of ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
In the Kupyansk direction, units of the "Western" group of forces, air strikes and artillery fire repelled three counterattacks of the 32nd and 43rd Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Sergeevka of the LPR. In the areas of the settlements of Sverdlovka and Sergeevka of the LPR, Dvurechnaya, Berestovoye and Budarki of the Kharkov region, enemy manpower and equipment were defeated.
During the day, up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen, two vehicles, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mount, and a US-made M777 artillery system were destroyed.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, units of the "Center" group of forces, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, repelled two attacks by assault groups of the 5th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and the 12th Special Forces Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka DPR and Kuzmino LPR.
In the areas of the settlements of Yampolovka and Torsk DPR, Kuzmino and Chervonaya Dibrova LPR, accumulations of manpower and military equipment of the 21st, 63rd and 67th Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated. Up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, two pickup trucks, and an unmanned aerial vehicle control center near the village of Chervonaya Dibrova of the LPR were destroyed.
In the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok group of forces, in cooperation with army aviation and artillery, defeated accumulations of manpower and military equipment of the 38th and 36th Brigades of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Shevchenko, DPR and Levadne, Zaporozhye region.
“More than 125 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored combat vehicle and two vehicles have been destroyed,” said the official representative of the Russian military department.
In the Kherson direction, as a result of air strikes and Russian artillery fire, the enemy's losses amounted to 60 servicemen, a tank and five vehicles. Two ammunition depots and an unmanned aerial vehicle control center were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Vyshetarasovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Dneprovskoye in the Kherson region.
Crews of operational-tactical and army aviation, crews of missile troops and artillery of our troops groupings inflicted defeat on enemy manpower and military equipment in 119 districts.
Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a MiG-29 fighter of the Ukrainian Air Force near the village of Bekarovka, Zaporozhye region.
Air defense systems intercepted five HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, as well as a US-made JDAM guided aerial bomb. On September 2, also over the territory of the Belgorod region, two Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted first in the morning, and then (at about 12.45 and around 15.00) another aircraft-type drone was destroyed.
The Kiev regime continues its attempts to disable the Crimean bridge, not hiding its aspirations to destroy this unique engineering structure, which has become a symbol of the return of Crimea to Russia. Naturally, these attempts are approved by the overseas masters of the current Ukrainian leadership. Or maybe they initiate them.
Be that as it may, the Crimean Bridge needs serious protection. It was created and worked on September 1 and 2.
The first day of autumn was coming to an end (it was about 11:15 p.m. on the clock) when the Kiev regime attempted to launch a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge with a semi-submersible unmanned boat. However, the Ukrainian naval drone was timely detected and destroyed in the Black Sea.

The third Ukrainian semi-submersible unmanned boat, which the enemy also sent to carry out the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, was destroyed on the same night, at about 2.20.
As Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov summed up at yesterday's briefing, since the beginning of the special military operation, 467 enemy aircraft, 247 helicopters, 6352 unmanned aerial vehicles, 435 anti-aircraft missile systems, 11,634 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,147 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems have been destroyed. fire, 6197 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 12,660 units of special military vehicles.
