In general, the offensive in this area does not make sense: initially it was intended as a diversionary strike in order to hide from us that the main attack would be on Tokmak. After the offensive stalled in June, in the Staromayorsky area the enemy continued to advance for propaganda purposes, in order to show at least some result (in general, the tendency to media overreach and fear of media criticism is letting the Ukrainian Armed Forces down).
Since the direction is not the main one, the enemy advances with smaller forces than Rabotino (although he lacks them there too). What he can achieve here with such forces, given that the sea is approximately 70 kilometers away in a straight line, remains a mystery.

Because of this, any advance of 100-200 meters is presented as an unconditional victory. In reality, any advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area is stopped after a few hours (and most often immediately), after which the Ukrainian troops roll back to their original positions.
The situation is similar in Kleshcheevka. Attacks on villages do not stop, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as in Zaporozhye, do not change tactics in the hope of breaking through the defense, as a result of which they leave a significant part of the personnel on the battlefield, and company commanders and soldiers of special units are increasingly left on the battlefield after being wounded and are captured.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to consolidate in positions on the left bank of the Dnieper for further attacks in the rear of the Russian group. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has made several attempts to rotate personnel at observation posts in different areas.
