Michigan teacher is knocked out cold by female student who hurled a metal CHAIR at her head during classroom brawl

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The harrowing incident took place on Thursday afternoon at the Southwestern Classical Academy in Flint, Michigan.

Disturbing footage showed the teacher standing in front of the classroom speaking to students before being whacked to the floor with the chair.

The teacher, who was not named, was hospitalized though it is unclear the injuries she sustained in the assault.

She was discharged from the hospital on Thursday and is expected to return to work next week.

The school's Superintendent Kevelin Jones issued a letter to parents informing them that an altercation took place this week between 'two scholars' which led to the staff member getting injured.

It is unclear if the student was arrested or is facing charges.

Flint Southwestern Classical Academy (FSCA) is an authorized International Baccalaureate World School in the Flint Community School district. Our diverse student population comprises of students from all areas of the city of Flint, as well as from surrounding school districts and communities within Genesee County. Our students include a number of bilingual students whose native languages include Spanish and Arabic. Additionally, over the past years, FSCA has hosted and educated up to 12 foreign exchange students representing the countries of Germany, China, Japan, and Spain.

The International Baccalaureate program is an academically demanding high school program whose graduation certificate is recognized around the world. I’d looked into it when we first moved back to the States, when we expected we would within the next three years be sent back Out There. I am shocked that students at such a school would would be so disinterested in improving their GPA that they’d indulge in temper tantrums in the classroom, no matter where it is based.

IIUC, girl got bushwhacked for telling that boy to quit jerking off in the stalls.

Wake me when she is convicted of a felony. My guess this charging action by the local DA, David S. Leyton, to get this out of the news. He is a reliable (D) and the "scholar" has the trifecta card.
