Shocking moment California woman is punched to ground by male cop who then kneels on her HEAD after she fled shop she'd 'burglarized,' crashed her car and 'resisted arrest'

  • A video showing a California police officer pulling the woman out from her car, pulling her to the ground and punching her in the face.

  • The Vallejo police officer then restrains the woman and sits on her head

  • The footage reportedly shows the end of a car chase after a business near the Gateway Plaza Shopping Center was burglarized on Friday

Both the woman and the police officer were injured in the arrest, police told KRON4.

The suspect was injured from the car crash, and the officer was injured from trying to arrest the woman. The woman is currently in police custody, authorities said.
