During the past week, the Russians launched 22 missile and 356 airstrikes, carried out more than 500 attacks from rocket salvo systems on military positions and civilian infrastructure objects. About 470 combat clashes took place.
The occupiers continue to focus their main efforts on the Kupyan, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv, Marin, Shakhtar and Zaporizhia directions, where heavy fighting continues. Despite the loss, the Russians are trying to dislodge our troops from their positions, but they are receiving a decent rebuff, the spokesman of the General Staff, Petro Kovalchuk, said on the air of the telethon.
"In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a presence in the border areas with Ukraine, fires at populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and carries out sabotage and reconnaissance activities in violation of the state border of Ukraine, actively uses UAVs to clarify the position of our troops and fire damage to the identified objects," the spokesman said.
On the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the Russians continued offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Senkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestovka (Kharkiv region) and Stelmakhivka, Novoyegorivka, Nevske, Serebryansk foresters (Luhansk). The defenders repelled more than 75 Russian attacks.
On the Bakhmutskyi direction, the Russians made about 70 unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position east of Ivanovsky, north of Klishchiivka and Andriivka. Also, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in Bohdanivka, Khromovo, and South Donetsk regions. At the same time, the defenders continue to conduct offensive actions south of Bakhmut.
On Avdiivskyi, the enemy's offensive continues in the areas of Avdiivka. The occupiers made about 120 unsuccessful attempts to dislodge the defenders in the areas east of Novokalynovy, Stepovy, Avdiivka, Severnoy, and Pervomaisky.
On Maryinsky defenders repelled more than 140 enemy attacks in Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka districts.
On Shakhtarskyi, the enemy made about 25 unsuccessful attacks in the areas of Vugledar, Zolotaya Niva, and Staromayorsk.
In Zaporizhzhia, the enemy tried to restore the lost position near Robotyny. There was no success. Also, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the regions of Chervonoye, northwest of Verbovoy, north of Nesteryanok and Pyatikhatok of the Zaporizhzhia region.
In Kherson, the occupiers focused their main efforts on conducting defense and improving logistical support. At the same time, the enemy continues airstrikes and artillery shelling of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. Also, the enemy repeatedly attacked the northern and southern regions of Ukraine with cruise missiles and attack UAVs.
We will remind, during the past day, 69 combat clashes took place at the front . In total, the enemy launched seven rocket and 34 air strikes, fired 59 salvo rockets at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
