| #3 Listening to National People's Radio (NPR) tonight, they had a touching segment on a Paleo mom who was expecting to get her daughter back as part of the prisoners for hostages thing. Due to the truce getting canceled for Reasons Totally Unmentioned, the exchange was called off. Very tearful. Daughter was arrested when she tried to stab a soldier at a checkpoint with a pair of scissors, which is also how she came to be shot in the leg. After a brief mention in passing, nothing more was said on this topic. Pity, since it was the only interesting part of the story. Youthful rebellion, daddy issues, or lack of parental guidance? I guess we will never know. Unless they make it a series on Netflix. |
