Hunter Biden says he's considering fleeing the country if Trump wins in 2024
2023-12-15
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Hunter Biden has reportedly hinted that he may consider leaving the United States if 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
wins next year's election .
Probably wise. Make sure it’s one of those countries that has no extradition treaty with America.
The president's son is currently facing an uphill legal battle in relation to tax fraud charges and is the subject of an investigation by Congress. A Republican commander-in-chief could serve to increase the scrutiny placed on not only him, but the Biden family as well.

According to Politico, sources close to the younger Biden revealed that he has told a number of family friends that fleeing the country could be on the table if Trump wins a second term.
Writing to him from Buenos Aires are they ?
Hunter Biden's concerns about the future have not been limited to private conversation. During a recent appearance on hit singer Moby's podcast, for example, he suggested that Republicans were trying to break him down to get to his father.

"What they’re trying to do is they’re trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle," Hunter Biden told Moby, "and so, therefore, destroying a presidency in that way."
The president has routinely expressed concern for his embattled son, and as Politico reports, speaks with him on a daily basis, offering his support.

Hunter Biden was recently indicted by a federal grand jury on 9 counts, including felonies, related to his tax returns, and on Wednesday, he was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight Committee to answer questions about allegations that he and his family have engaged in shady business dealings and influence peddling.

The president's son ditched his deposition, opting instead to deliver a statement on the Capitol lawn wherein he called the committee's investigation "illegitimate."

"Let me state as clearly as I can," he told news hounds. "My father was not financially involved in my business, not as a practicing lawyer, not as a board member of Burisma, not in my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not in my investments at home nor abroad, and certainly not as an artist."

In response, the House has moved to hold him in contempt of Congress, arguing that "we will not provide special treatment because his last name is Biden."

#11  He will be pardoned a run for Congress - Nancy’s seat. His cash flow ends as soon as Joe is out of office. Congress is the only accessible employment option that matches his lifestyle and skill set.

#5  He probably should run, like all criminals that get caught. I suspect Bangkok would be a good place for him, or maybe Amsterdam...

#3  Will he flee to Caracas or Amsterdam? I take as much stock in this as when Cher or Streisand makes the same promise. This is about as realistic as Brittany Spears vowing to only post fully dressed pictures on Instagram.
