[KavkazUzel] Ruslan Gagloev from Stavropol, who is serving a sentence in a colony, was found guilty of joining the ranks of the Islamic State. In conjunction with the previous sentence, he was sentenced to 12 years in a special regime colony.
The Southern District Military Court found Stavropol resident Ruslan Gagloev guilty of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization).
According to the press service of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Stavropol Territory, Gagloev, who is currently serving a sentence for a previously committed crime, voluntarily joined the ranks of the Islamic State* in March 2021 to commit crimes on its behalf, Interfax writes on December 19."
The court sentenced Gagloeva, in combination with the previous sentence, to 12 years in a special regime colony with the first three years to be served in prison.
Earlier, the Prigorodny District Court of North Ossetia sentenced Ruslan Gagloev to 12 years of strict regime in a case of forced sexual conduct. He has eight years left in prison.
