#14  They had reparations! Ever hear of '40 acres and a mule'? That was a program setup by Lincoln after the war to pay... reparations. It also included food and clothing to get them started.

The programs was ended by... wait for it... wait for it... (but you probably already guessed)... Democrats.

In effect, a wealth transfer, just not in the expected direction.
