#5  Neither the Iranian nor the US military are what they were twenty or even five years ago. The acceptable level of casualties for the US in an election year is lower than “normal”.

On a separate note I object to using US soldiers as staked goats to establish a pretext for (yet another) poorly conceived and half heartedly executed MSM drama of the day event.
