The migrant problem as a ‘red pill’ against the liberal ‘matrix’
2024-02-04
[REGNUM] Did Trump's victory in the Republican primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire surprise anyone? No way. Moreover, experts predict an unconditional victory for him in South Carolina. But this, in fact, under normal conditions would look incredible, if only because its competitors are much younger and not burdened with scandals and criminal cases. And yet they are clearly powerless against him. Why? Because they expect a miracle from Trump: "Trump will come and restore order." They expect him to not only "tell the truth," but also to act accordingly. And in particular, on the issue of migrants.

In the distant 18th century, intellectuals began to live in the Enlightenment paradigm they invented, which was later described very well by George Orwell: "If the huge mass of people becomes literate, learns to think for themselves, they will get rid of the privileged minority as unnecessary . "

This is exactly what the French encyclopedist philosophers introduced when the majority of their compatriots were still living in a completely different - medieval model, which assumed the inevitability and beneficence of hierarchies, both spiritual and secular, which asserted that there are insiders and outsiders.

...But his contemporary philosopher José Ortega y Gasset recorded even then that the hoped-for universal literacy did not give rise to free, rational people capable of critical thinking. No, the "huge mass" gave birth to the "mass man." And the manipulators became the "privileged minority".

...And every mass person is convinced that he has "his own opinion." Although in the overwhelming majority of cases it is in no way the result of his personal search for information and its analysis, but almost always an embedded, imposed position, sometimes in a soft and sometimes in a hard form. The world, which, according to the idea of the enlighteners, should have become the kingdom of Reason, has turned into an empire of manipulation. Moreover, at a level that, of course, would have been impossible to imagine in previous centuries.

But manipulators are not yet able to replace reality with its virtual model, as in "The Matrix," and when a collision (and often quite traumatic) of the schemes embedded in the mass consciousness with rough reality occurs, the illusory picture begins to show cracks.

One of the main stumbling blocks is the problem of migration. Many unpleasant, absurd, alien to common sense things, united by the concept of "agenda", are successfully introduced into the consciousness of mass people through manipulation. But it’s different with migrants. Quite often they clearly, by their very behavior and attitude towards the locals, refute what the manipulators impose as their obligatory image.

Among the intellectuals who had been creating the "matrix" for a long time, their own Morpheuses and Neos appeared, who began the individual production of "red pills". Moreover, they themselves actively use this image from the cult franchise.

For example, in the same States, they are trying to undermine the citadel of multiculturalism and tolerance with the help of a new, or rather newly designed (in fact, very old) doctrine, which was dubbed HBD - Human Bio-Diversity. Its supporters, relying exclusively on the most advanced scientific research, prove that people are very different. And accordingly, the naive confidence that finding mutual understanding is simply a matter of goodwill and the same enlightenment is refuted not only by examples of street conflicts, but also by the works of venerable biologists and cultural scientists.

...Neoreactionary philosopher Nick Land ironizes about the phases of acceptance of the HBD doctrine that a person undergoes when exposed to mass liberal propaganda.

On the first (Denial) and second (Anger) he will first refuse to perceive anything like that at all, and then he will begin to furiously call his opponent a racist. But if he still forces himself to get acquainted with the data offered to him, the following phases will occur:

"Stage-3 (Bargaining): "... but even if HBD is true, it still doesn’t mean anything, right? You know, the theory of comparative advantage or postmodernism... (or something else)."

"Stage-4 (Depression): "Who could have known that reality was so cruel?"

"Stage-5 (Acceptance): "Blank Slate Liberalism was really just a mountain of lying rubbish, wasn’t it? Looks like it's time for him to disappear..."

...In Europe, the so-called right-wing populists are also gaining increasing support from voters precisely because manipulative liberal schemes are broken when faced with real migrants who have flooded Europe, but in no way demonstrate a desire for assimilation or even respect for local traditions.

Therefore, the demand for "red pills" to return to reality is growing. And although Trump bears little resemblance to Neo, much less Morpheus, they are expected from him to produce them industrially.

#1  I prefer the 'John Wick' Jesus allegory for Trump, battling the money changers in their temples.

Less mystical, more 'red mist'.
