The Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdievka are “retreating to more advantageous positions.”
The retreat of Ukrainian militants was announced by the speaker of the Tavria Armed Forces of Ukraine group, Dmitry Likhovy.
“In Avdievka, in some places our units are retreating to more advantageous positions. Supplies to Avdeevka and evacuation from there are difficult. But a spare logistics artery, prepared in advance, is involved,” Likhovy said on air at the Ukrainian telethon.

New positions have been prepared for Ukrainian army fighters located in Avdievka, said the commander of the Ukrainian operational-strategic group of troops “Tavria” Alexander Tarnavsky on February 16.
