The Ukrainian military repulsed 11 enemy attacks in the Avdeevsky direction and 18 in the Novopavlovsky direction in one day.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, 67 military clashes were recorded at the front. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in an evening report on Tuesday, March 19.
In total, Russian troops carried out three missile and 62 air strikes, and carried out 64 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made three unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Sinkovka, Kharkov region.
In the Liman direction, soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Donetsk region and Belogorovka, Lugansk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses.
In the Bakhmut direction, six attacks by Russian invaders were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Predtechino, Kleshchievka, Belaya Gora in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdeevsky direction, defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdich, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye, Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka, Vodyanoye, Urozhaynoye, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, tried 18 times to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Staromayorsky area of ​​the Donetsk region four times.
In the Kherson direction, during the day, the Russians made one attack on the positions of Ukrainian troops on the left bank of the Dnieper.
During the day, Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes on six areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. Units of the missile forces damaged two ammunition depots and one electronic warfare equipment of the Russians.
Let us remind you that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 840 invaders. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, the total combat losses of Russian troops amount to 432,390 people.
