During the day, 67 clashes were recorded. In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian invaders did not conduct offensive actions. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in an evening report on Wednesday, March 20.
In total, Russian troops carried out two missile and 54 air strikes, and carried out 41 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to contain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka, Vodyanoye, Urozhainoye, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense 18 times.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the invaders, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders five times in the areas of the settlements of Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region, and Rabotino, Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, during the day the enemy carried out three attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the left bank of the Dnieper.
During the day, Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes on 10 areas where the occupiers' personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. Units of the missile forces inflicted a defeat on the composition of the Russians' ammunition.
