The world turns on Israel after World Central Kitchen slaughter
2024-04-03
[Daily Mail] World leaders have vented their fury at Israel following an 'outrageous' drone strike on a convoy of aid workers from the charity World Central Kitchen which killed seven, including three British armed forces heroes.

The humanitarian convoy of three cars, which were clearly marked as belonging to the humanitarian organisation while moving along a route approved by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), was blasted in a 'triple tap' strike on Monday.
Clearly marked, like the Red Thingy ambulances moving militants and weapons?
Israel's actions have triggered international condemnation, with leaders in the UK, the US, Poland, Canada, and Australia - the countries the foreign nationals in the group hailed from - among those calling for accountability.
Targeted or collateral damage?

#14  I'm not outraged. Or surprised.
You go to a war zone, expect war.
No safe zones for celebrities, journalists, or anybody else.

#13  Israel should be making any NGO operative that wants to go into Gaza or West Bank wear an ankle monitor.

#9  Three vehicles, two of which are armored Toyota Land Cruisers, looks like well tinted windows and most definitely poorly marked (no contrast to the vehicle color, looks like slap on magnet sign), make a visit to an off limits facility to visit a designated terrorist. I bet chez terrorist's place is not on approved route. Says they don't take said terrorist's pickup.

Say....was he riding along with the WCKNs and that is being omitted? Most definitely a transport mission of some sort and I don't mean three Penskes loaded with MREs and clot gauze.

Chef José Andrés’ non-profit World Central Kitchen has announced a $1 billion disaster relief fund to feed those affected by environmental crises, funded in part by the $100 million donation by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.
The fund will work to provide immediate relief for those in dire need, and will invest in long-term solutions to fight climate change and food insecurity. Funding will be distributed over the next ten years.

Sounds harmless enough. Let's go with it. I'll be at my cottage in Dingle for the next three days. Please hold my mail.
