[Korrespondent] Over the course of 24 hours, Defense Force aviation carried out strikes on one anti-aircraft missile system and 13 areas where Russian personnel were concentrated.
During the day, 62 military clashes were recorded at the front, most of them in the Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in an evening report on Tuesday, April 2.
It is noted that in total, Russian troops carried out two missile and 43 air strikes, and carried out 39 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Kupyansk direction, defenders repelled one attack in the area of ​​the village of Sinkovka, Kharkov region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops.
In the Liman direction, eight enemy attacks were repulsed in the area of ​​the village of Terny, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses. In the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
In the Avdeevsky direction, defenders repulsed 10 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdich, Umanskoye, Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to knock out Ukrainian Armed Forces units from their occupied lines.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russians in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka and Urozhaynoye, Donetsk region, where the invaders tried to break through the defense 18 times.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy made two attacks on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Rabotinoye and north-west of Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region. In the Kherson direction, during the day, the enemy launched one attack on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of ​​​​the village of Krynki, Kherson region.
