IRGC naval chief threatens to close key strait, says response to consulate attack coming
2024-04-11
[IsraelTimes] The commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps navy says it could close the Strait of Hormuz, a key maritime route where much of the world’s oil passes, if deemed necessary.

"We can close the Hormuz Strait, but are not doing so. However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
if the enemy comes to disrupt us, we will review our policy," Revolutionary Guards Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri tells pro-Hezbollah Lebanese outlet al-Meyadeen.

He says if US nuclear vessels enter Iranian waters, the Hormuz Strait "will become unusable for several years."

Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has threatened to close the strait in response to tensions with Israel and the US in the past.

The commander also says Israel’s presence in the United Arab Emirates is viewed as a threat by Tehran.

"We know that the Zionists were not brought to the UAE for economic purposes, but rather for security and military work. This is a threat to us and should not happen," Tangsiri says.

He also says Iran is taking its time, but will eventually respond to an alleged Israeli Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
on its consulate in Syria’s capital on April 1 that killed seven Revolutionary Guards officers, including two senior commanders.

"We do not get hit without striking back, but we are also not hasty in our retaliation," Tangsiri says.

#9  Destroy three of Irun’s major ports with submarine “torpedos” or other means. Destroy their nuke facilities or bomb their leaders.

#4  ^ but it seems to have been very effective.

Perhaps the end of ne'er-do-wells hiding behind the thin facade of outdated international law will become routine.

#3  Bombing a diplomatic compound is a serious violation of international law.
When the #1 backer of the rules-based international order doesn't enforce the rules, that looks very bad to everyone who wants to join BRICS.

#2  When my mother married, she was gifted a complete set of copper-bottomed Revereware pots and pans. Beautiful things, perfect for small children (of which she had four in four years, because my parents started late) to bang on the kitchen floor while singing extemporaneously together. When I married, my mother gifted me my very own set of Revereware copper-bottomed pots and pan. Sadly, in the meantime the copper had gone from a full 1/4” thickness to the very palest of washes, no doubt a great cost saving for the manufacturer; it looked very pretty when first taken out of the box, but wore off as soon as I ventured necessary scrubbing.

Thus is the iron cladding of President Biden’s promise compared to those of presidents past. In my considered opinion, of course.
