In the Kupyansk direction, a local offensive by the Russian Armed Forces is developing in the Kislovka-Kotlyarovka sector.
In the afternoon, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of the village of Kotlyarovka. In reality, Russian forces reached the western outskirts of the village on May 4-5, while the assault continued in neighboring Kislovka with artillery and air support.
Already today, unconfirmed reports have appeared about the liberation of Kislovka. Given the close proximity of the villages (the furthest houses are about 500 meters away) and the official liberation of Kotlyarka, it is most likely that Kislovka was liberated by Russian forces. The presence of the enemy, if it persists, is focal.
By the end of the day, footage appeared of the raising of Russian flags over the central part of Kislovka and the east of Kotlyarovka, which confirms the information about complete or almost complete control of both villages.
In other areas of the direction, information about other successes of the RF Armed Forces is not recorded in the public field; the parties exchange artillery strikes and conduct mutual reconnaissance. In the Kherson direction, the focus of attention in the media space has recently shifted somewhat from the situation in the Krynok region to the situation on the island of Nestriga, located in the Dnieper delta southwest of Kherson and closer to the right bank.

Enemy units are also active to the northeast of the Cossack Camps: two days earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces landing force on several boats landed in the island zone on the approaches to the village and dispersed in residential areas, but later retreated under fire from Russian troops.

Activity of Ukrainian BEC near the Crimean Peninsula
That night, Ukrainian formations attempted to attack the base of the Black Sea Fleet and the Russian FSB border service in Chernomorskoe with four unmanned boats.
At around 4-5 am, four BECs were discovered by Russian military personnel, and fire was opened on them. As a result of this, the drones were destroyed at the booms, unable to break into Uzkaya Bay.
This situation again demonstrates the importance of such basic things as booms. Their presence simply did not allow naval drones to penetrate their home base and easily repel an attack.
However, this group of BECs was not the only one: another squad of drones was spotted near Cape Tarkhankut. After detecting their movement, the unmanned boats turned around and departed in the opposite direction.
BEC activity has increased near the Crimean Peninsula. The day before yesterday, about five or six drones appeared near the Kerch Strait, which is why the bridge was blocked. The search for drones continued for several hours, but the BECs disappeared in an unknown direction.
The number of BECs these days indicates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are assessing the state of defensive fortifications in Crimea. The presence of drones was noted at the bridge, and at Tarkhankut, and in Chernomorskoye, but in small numbers, when, as in the last attack on the BDK, more than ten BECs were involved at a time.
At the same time, according to the already classic scheme, before the attack near Crimea, a British reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 operated, which was located 100 km southwest of Sevastopol.
Taking this into account and the coming weekend in Russia, we should expect massive strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Moreover, the enemy has been pausing for several days, clearly accumulating forces for an attack.
