Today, the greatest activity of the Russians is recorded in the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk directions, but intense fighting continues almost along the entire front line.
During the current day, as of 1:30 p.m., a total of 58 combat clashes took place. This was reported in the General Staff.
From the beginning of the day in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked in the direction of the village of Staritsa. Launched missile strikes on Kharkiv and Staraya Vodolaz. Vilcha, Vovchansk and Staritsa were hit by enemy aircraft. Ukrainian soldiers carried out counterattack measures in the area of ​​the city of Vovchansk.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been three combat clashes in the Kupian direction in the areas of Synkivka, Ivanovka, and Berestovo.
On the Lymanskyi direction, two combat clashes were recorded in the Novosadovo region.
In the Seversky direction, the number of enemy attacks increased to three. Combat clashes took place near Zvanivka and Rozdolivka (as of 10:30 there was one attack).
In the Kramatorsk direction, enemy troops made ten attempts to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Hryhorivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka. An air strike was carried out in the Druzhba area. Despite the onslaught of the enemy, our soldiers continue to confidently restrain him and, under favorable conditions, counterattack.
The invaders are most active in the Pokrovsky direction. Since the beginning of this day, 20 attacks have already been carried out, in particular, in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Solovyove, Netaylove and Umanske settlements. The enemy used combat aircraft near Vovchy, Vozdvizhenka and Novooleksandrivka.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled seven enemy attacks. The invaders were active in the districts of Krasnohorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novomykhailika and Kostyantynivka.
In the Vremivsk direction, the occupiers made six attempts to storm Ukrainian positions near Mykilskyi and Urozhainy, and near Staromayorsky, also with the support of aviation. The enemy had no success.
In the Dnieper direction, the invaders attacked five times near Krynyk, where they suffered losses. The enemy launched an airstrike in the area of ​​the city of Kherson.
In other areas, the situation remained unchanged.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting of the stake in Kharkiv today. According to him, the situation is generally under control, although it is very difficult.

Ukrainian troops continue to carry out defense and stabilization measures in Vovchansk and keep the situation under control.

On Pokrovsky, the direction was "hottest". The defenders repelled 45 attacks in the districts of Kalinovo, Novooleksandrivka, Sokol, Umansky, Novoselivka Persha, Netaylovy, Solovyo, Donetsk region. The Russians, with the support of aviation, tried to dislodge the defenders.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the occupiers in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Pobyeda, Novomykhailivka, Slvany, Vodyany, Paraskoviyvka in Donetsk region, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses.
"Yesterday, our soldiers improved the tactical position in the Pobyeda area," said the spokesman of the General Staff.
Defenders repelled 26 attacks in the Vremivsk direction in the Kostyantynivka, Vodyanyi, Urozhayny, and Staromayorsky districts of the Donetsk region.
In Orihivskoye, the enemy attacked the defense line in the area of ​​the robot four times. Loss of our positions is not allowed.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy does not give up its intention to dislodge the units of the defenders from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, he made seven useless attacks.
"Over the course of a day, the enemy launched four rocket and 75 air strikes, fired 118 salvo fire systems at the positions of our troops and at populated areas," the spokesman added.
Since May 10, the Russian offensive on the Kharkiv region has been ongoing. Yesterday, shooting battles took place on the northern outskirts of Vovchansk, but the city is under Ukrainian control.
In the evening of May 15, the President of Ukraine reported that the situation in the Kharkiv region was partially stabilized.
