UPDATE (FROM GLENN): With a possible war in the Pacific looming, a logistics/engineering failure of this magnitude bodes poorly. We were great at this stuff in WWII, and as recently as twenty years ago. What are we great at now? Pronouns, I guess. |

| #15 apparently the JLOTS was designed to be installed when seas were under 3' and winds under 15 mph So basically inland lakes on a reasonably calm day. Invading Galveston is pretty much out of the question. On positive note, underwater wrecks make for some good fishing. |
