[Regnum] Russia will subsequently receive documents developed at the so-called peace conference on Ukraine, which will be held in Switzerland. This was stated on May 28 by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, at a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Portugal, Luis Montenegro.
He clarified that these papers will include items on food security, as well as the nuclear and humanitarian spheres. The head of the Kyiv regime noted that new steps regarding other points will depend on Russia's reaction.
“We will move on to other points, and if three work, then the rest will work,” he emphasized.
The head of the Kyiv regime did not say who exactly or which organizations or countries will hand over the documents of the Swiss conference to Russia.
As Regnum reported, the conference in Switzerland will take place on June 15–16 in the city of Bürgenstock. Russia was not invited to the event. The conference organizers plan that more than 160 delegations will attend the meeting. Discussions at the event will be based on the so-called peace formula proposed by the head of the Kyiv regime.
On May 13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the conference in Switzerland was an attempt to formulate an ultimatum for Russia. He noted that Moscow will not participate in this event and any other negotiations on Ukraine, where they are trying to promote Kyiv’s “peace formula.”
On May 24, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the conference in Switzerland another scam on the part of the United States. She noted that Russia has never refused to negotiate.
On May 27, retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis said that the conference in Switzerland would not bring positive results and was doomed to failure. The expert emphasized that no country can force Russia to take any steps.
