| Only two or three people know Hamas leader's whereabouts: Report |

| [Al Jazeera] There are only two or three people who know the whereabouts of Hamas’s leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, the London-based newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reports, citing Hamas sources. “A very small circle of no more than two or three people at most knows his whereabouts and secures his various needs, as well as ensuring his communication with the movement’s leaders inside and outside,” the source said. The source continued that while Israel has tried to assassinate “many of the first and second-tier leaders” of Hamas, “Sinwar is not among” those who have been killed. The sources did not specify whether Sinwar was hiding above ground or in tunnels in the Palestinian enclave. They added that they did not believe the Hamas leader would consider a deal that would see him exiled. |
